KNOWING THE PLANTS OF SANTILLANA DEL MAR
On this route we will discover the natural heritage of Santillana del Mar, this Villa is much more than its historic center, very close we can discover a spectacular and very diverse environment.
During the same we will discover the different plant species that accompany us, providing curious facts and medicinal properties. In this walk we can find from wild orchids to plants typical of the limestone moors of the interior of the province, just a few meters from the sea.
But not everything will be plants, so, as in all our routes, the interpretation goes further.
We will discover: footprints, birds, insects such as butterflies, reptiles, the Karstic system and the best views of Santillana and its coast.
At the end of the route we will make an ointment with some of the plants observed during the route, which you can take home as a souvenir of this experience.
