RELUX
Firm: Stretches of grass and rocks
Simple walk to one of the most beautiful places in Carranza. We will start walking along the slopes of El Mazo (823 m.), Passing from the wide pastures that dominate the Ubal mountain range, to the limestone that closes the valley to the north. Accompanied by the vultures, and with a bit of luck for the Egyptian vultures, we will look out over the famous Relux window. It is an opening in the rock, which frames the outlet of the Carranza River to the Asón and the latter to the sea. We will return to the starting point along the same road, with the mountains of Ordunte in the background. Along the route, we will know how these mountains are formed and their accidents (dolines, lapiaces …); We will talk about the vultures that will accompany us and the livestock that dominates the sierra.
